Student evaluation summary
Responses: 45 of 86 students (52.3%)
The table reports question-block means from the UMBC student course evaluation. Scores use a five-point scale, where higher values indicate more positive responses. The UMBC column provides the university-wide comparison reported for the same evaluation blocks.
| Evaluation area | Instructor mean | UMBC mean |
|---|---|---|
| Individual rapport | 4.4 | 4.4 |
| Instructor evaluation | 4.4 | 4.3 |
| Overall instructor rating | 4.5 | 4.3 |
